Hello gurus,
I have a role to add to the Portal Favorites to avoid drilling down to many levels, does anyone know how to add a role to the Portal Favorites?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Regards,
Niki Nguyen

Hi Hemalatha,
Based on your link I found this info, but unable to use it, what is a Secondary Mouse button in the detailed navigation area?
Adding Entries to the Portal Favorites
You can add portal pages to your portal favorites as follows:
● Choose Add to Favorites in the options menu of the page header bar.
● Use the secondary mouse button to click in the detailed navigation area, and choose Add to Portal Favorites from the context menu.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Niki,
You can add the workset as Portal Favorites, what you can do is, in the toolbar area, you can see the Personalize button after the History, Back & Forward links, with some options. Using this, add your Role or workset as your portal favorites.

Hi Niki,
Just check whether in your Default Framework Page, Portal Favorites is iView available under your Desktop InnerPage or not. If not, please add this iview to your Desktop InnerPage. Then you can able to see the Portal Favorites on your portal desktop.
To check the ivew, goto Content Administration -> Portal Content -> Content Provided by SAP -> End User Content -> Standard Portal Users -> Default Framework Page (open this page) -> Select Desktop InnerPage (select and open) -> Select Portal Favorites iview and mark it as visible and fixed. Then you able to see the portal favorites.

Niki,
The documentation says that
The Portal Favorites iView contains a freely definable list of links for direct access to items that you use regularly. This can include the following:
● Portal pages and iViews that run as full-page applications
● Documents, folders, and other items in KM repositories
● External items, such as Internet pages
So we can't do it for Roles.
