Material XXXXX does not exist in storage location XX

Hello Guys,

I wanted to create delivery document. I have copy control doc from OR/LF and changed to mine. Later when i tried to create delivery document, i get error

@5C\QError@ 8177 100 Material ZVKMAT4 does not exist in storage location ZVK ZKV @5F\QNo long text exists@

I do not see storage location info in material master view.Do we do picking first and then create deliver or does not matter?

Hi

While creating material in <b>MM01 </b>did you enter storage location for the material .Pls rectify Go to transaction code <b>MM01 </b>and select the views general plant data/storage location and then go to organizational elements and enter the plant and storage location, save it you will get the prompt saying material is extended

Or else Check Stock Level through T.code: <b>MMBE </b>for Individual Material, <b>MB5B</b>, <b>MB51 </b>or <b>MB52 </b>for Multiple Material.

thank you. i rectified the material master view. it works now. one thing i wanted to know, after assigning material to items level , next do we need to create delivery, then packing, picking, route detr, and later invoice?

Go to MB1c, check your material stock status. Check which storage location the material exists.

Then you have either of these two options:

1. go to sales order line litem and change the storage location in shipping tab.

2. Do a stock transfer order from the storage location where the material exists to the storage location from where you are trying to create a delivery. T code MB1B

Hi Venky,

As AKK told you need to check whether you have right material in correct storage location. If not post it thru MB1C. Check the status thru MB58.
