The Requset Couldnot Found

Hi,

I m newly installed portal on my PC.

For to open portal, i m using follwing URL

http://SXI.STARXMI:5000/irj/portal

wen i give the above link and hit enter, i m getting the follwing error

<b> The Request could not found </b>

along with the link <a href="http://">Go to mainPage</a>

When i clik on link it is directly navigatin to

http://SXI.STARXMI:5000/index.html

Why its happening.

What settings is lfet out for to access portal

Please help me regarding this.

Check port 50000 and not 5000. I mean http://SXI.STARXMI:50000/irj/

Yes Port is 50000

But i think v need to configure some settings. Y i can able to open index.html as well as SLD. Y i m not getting for irj.

its very urgent, please do the need full

re reading your post - if /irj/portal fails to work then id suggest you have a incomplete or failed installation.

You need to go into the Visual Administrator tool and determine whether the /irj application has been installed and if it has whether it has been started.

dont forget - you MUST use a fully qualified domain name when accessing the portal. It works VERY badly if you dont.

You should use a name in the following format

http://server.mycompany.com:50000/irj/portal/
