I singed up for cal.sap.com for S/4HANA instance and linked up with "azure.microsoft.com" subscription. I can see this linked up properly but some reason my instance "SAP S/4HANA, on-premise edition 1610 FPS01" not configuring for me to logon via remote console.

when i click "Activate" button then getting below error..

The operation Resume is not allowed for the solution instance "myhana"

Could someone please help me how to resolve this.

thanks for your help.

thanks

I have the same issue; I have now waited 24 hours however I am receiving the same error message. The Resource Group and Storage has both been created in Azure, however I have no Virtual Machines. Has anyone found a way to move forward with this please?

I'm having same issue with 1709 with Amazon Developer's account. Have you found the solution?

Hello, what is the error message you received in the CAL UI?

It should be clear:

Operation Start failed on step Create virtual machine with message: AMAZON : You have requested more instances (2) than your current instance limit of 1 allows for the specified instance type. Please visit http://aws.amazon.com/contact-us/ec2-request to request an adjustment to this limit. (Service: AmazonEC2; Status Code: 400; Error Code: InstanceLimitExceeded; Request ID: b2237270-14ee-4b6c-b911-a187c7783a5e)

You may look into solution definition and to check into your AWS account limits for the required VM types.

So I was able to create two instances after the request but I am still having same issue with 1709. I can activate 1610 and I am using it without a hitch.

Do you have again instanceId? And the error you see?

I terminated the instance. I'll try it again with different zone. Currently I have tried ECC as well and I had to create using the European zone. East Coast zone looks like is running out of resources.

Hello Suresh,

The root cause for the problem above was "Operation could not be completed within the specified time" returned by Azure.

Could you please confirm that you were able to create your instance afterwards?

Thanks and regards,
