How Unexpected event "Departure Vessel" is being updated automatically in TM sent from EM

Hi,

I am using SAP standard EH type - ODT30_TO for Freight order testing . I have configured "DEPT_VESSEL" (Departure Arrival) as unexpected event at ODT30_TO - EH level. I did not have any Ruleset entry for "DEPT_VESSEL" event, but when I posted DEPT_VESSEL event manually via /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_ADDEVENTMSG_02 the event has been posted at ODT30_TO EH level and immediately the event was updated in TM at Freight order document level in the "Execution" tab.

I am very surprise, how the event was being sent automatically from EM to TM without any Ruleset entry exist for the event code "DEPT_VESSEL" in the Ruleset of EH type - ODT30_TO.

Can someone please respond how the event was getting updated in TM at Freight order document level was sent from EM system after the event was posted in EM at Freight order EH level?.

what was the logic, please let me know?

Thanks

Sudhan.

Check the configuration behind the Freight Order Type -> "Execution Tack. Relev. "

1 = No execution Tracking

2 = Execution Tracing -> This is done in SAP TM

3 = Execution Tracking with external Event Management -> This is done in SAP EM

Also check, on the same page: "Display Mode for Execution Tab"

1 = Actual Events from TM only, expected events from EM

2 = Actual Events and expected events from EM only

<blank> = Actual Events from TM and EM, expected events from EM

This is where the "magic" happens.

Thanks

Hello Sudhan.

On the TM Execution tab there is a column 'Source of execution information'.
This is normally 'Read from EM' or 'propagated from EM'. I guess for you it is the former..
