Hi!
I'm planning on the key figure 0FM_AMOUNT1 (Amount in local currency) and I have a couple of issues regarding planning in thousands:
- I cannot remove the unit from the key figure with NODIM when displaying it, because I can't plan on a calculated key figure, so 500.000 EUR is displayed as 500 EUR.
- When transferring from the in-data field underneath the query (new posts), it reads the amount as typed, 500 is 500, but if I change the amount on posts already in the query 500 = 500.000
Any help and suggestions much appriciated,
Best regards

Ok. What is your problem, please.

I need to plan with a currency key figure scaled by 1000 and since I cannot plan on a calculated key figure I cannot use the NoDim function to remove the key figure's unit.
This means the display is 500 EUR, when the actual data stored is 500.000 EUR. I need to remove the unit so that it only displays 500 --but is still open for planning.
The second question is regarding the indata field in BeX Analyser when planning. This does not (that I can find) accept scaled figures, I have to type in actual figures when making a new post, but when I change the value on a post allready in the query, it will scale. Needless to say this will be somewhat confusing for users

Hi,
For the display of scaled numbers, it must be showing a *1000 at the top of the column. Unless all the cells in the column are having unit EUR, it will show EUR in individual cells; otherwise it shifts it to the top of column to show *1000 EUR.
You will need to train your users for this.
Hope this helps.
Check the scaling factor for the key fig object in query designer.
