Change before earliest retro. date

Hi

I'm getting the following error when trying to put a to-date(31.08.2007) to the banking details(infotype 09) type 1(other). Current date = 01.05.2006 To-date = 31.12.9999.

What could be the problem?

Hi All

I solved my problem by deleting the control record(PA03), change the record in infotype 9 and recreated the control record.

Hi!

To delete the Control Record is not always the best solution because of the impact if it is done in a wrong way. Good news that this time worked for you, but next time try by changing the Earl. Retro Acc Date in IT 0003, is safer and maybe quicker.

hi,

it is got to do with the IT0003 entry. change the date in that to a date earlier than the one you want to process on.

the tcode for that is PA03.

This is because the retroactive date has been set as 01.03.2007 in your Control Record for Payroll Area ZN.

Try copying the existing record of IT 0009 and set start date and end date both. Start date can be any date as per your requirement but it must be as from or after 01.03.2007.

Check your hiring date of the employee. IT 0009 cant be created before the hiring date of the employee. Your problem could be because of that

U cannot Make Any changes prior to the Date <b>01.03.2007</b> , Go to Control Record PA03 for ur payroll Area ZN and change earliest Retro date to <b>01.05.2006 </b> or Change Current date on IT 09 to <b>01.03.2007</b>
