Closing external window

Hi there,

I just searched several hours in Blogs and Forums but I'm not sure if i found the solution.

I want to open an external window from WDA and close it, if the Application is closing.

I followed the instructions in Blog: /people/mohammed.anzys/blog/2007/06/10/webdynpro-abap-controlling-external-windows

but i doesn't work with windos created with create_external_window method.

Any ideas ?

Thanks and best regards

      Hello Mohammed,

i see your posting purchase taking the problem "how to close parent window in webdynpro applications?" I also have the same problem. I made everything in accordance with your remarks.

My problem is: when i close my application, i can't start it again from the link. I become a popup from the internet explorer with the (german) text: "Die Seite greift auf Informationen aus anderen Daten zu. Dies kann ein Sicherheitsproblem darstellen. Möchten Sie den Vorgang fortsetzen?" In english it means: "The side accesses information from other data. This can represent a safety problem. Would like a simmering procedure to continue?".

Whats wrong? Do you know what i must do?

First best thanks for your efforts

      friendly greets
