Hello All! I'm want to create RFC (R/3) connection between SAP Netweawer 2004s (Basis 7.00) and R/3 Enterprise (Basis 6.20). Connection to 2004s --- R/3enterprise are fine, but then i'm create connection R/3enterprise - 2004s i'm view the error after TEST Authorization. If i'm press remote logon i'm view the Logon screen, if i'm enter the same USER login and password --- logon are fine,,, Why immediately is not got?

Thanks and regards !!

hello Sergo,

First check if the password supplied in RFC destination is correct. Try giving an alphanumeric password to the RFC user.

If this doesnot solve the issue then user must be missing authorizations for authorization object s_rfc in the target system. Just give him this authorization and this should be solved.

Do you have anything in small letters for password ( eg: A@bcd4F , change to A@BCD4F )?

Thanks

Hi Sergo,

As of Basis Release 700 the password is case sensitive. Reset the password of the user in the 2004 box with Alphabets in all caps, and try Auth. Test from the Enterprise box with the same password. You need not give the password in CAPs. I believe it will work, as what i think though the prior release are not case sensitive but the password get converted in to CAPs. If it still does not work, try resetting the password in all small letters.
