Restricting Account Assignment Categories in PO document types

Hi All.

Whilst I am aware that item category can be restricted/managed at document type level via configuration, does the account assignment category have the same options?

E.G. We have restricted three new purchase document types to item category standard. We then want to restrict the document types via specific account assignment categories such as:

Doc type NB, Item Category standard, Account assignment A only

Is there any config or user exits for this
