Our policy of desktop-users, is that they are not able to install software themselves. Installing patches of SBO, requires however, "power users' authorizations on the local pc. Does anyone experienced this situation and could you tell us about the best way (most secure) of handling it.
Thanks!
A simple way is to log-on as domain administrator on the workstations. You can use a tool like vnc to do this remote.
Another more difficult way is to use the domain group policy. Create a modified policy which gives the users a temporary right to install with their own credentials. To do this you must have experience, maybe an IT colleage can help you with this solution.
