Cost Center & WBSE

Dear All,

I have requirement for one project as follows:

I have created one project & planning costs in WBSE/Network,

posting the costs via GR / GI.

These costs are shown on WBSE (Report: S_ALR_87013532).

I want to see these costs on Cost Centers also.

But it is not showing cost on cost center.

What do I need to do?

Hi,

Costs in cost center can be viewed after final settlement of project into cost centre.

Cost centre is permanent cost object, whereas WBS elements are temporary cost objects. All the WBSE account assignment GR/GI, cost will get posted into WBS elements. After settlement of WBSE to cost center, cost will flow to cost center which can be viewed.

Dear Sanjay

This can be handled by customizing the account assigment category "P" or what ever used in the PR/PO/GR/GI mandatorly asks for Cost Center also. Then the costs will flow to the cost center also. But this will be real posting and again needs to be settled or else make the WBSE/NWE as statistical.

SPRO > IMG > PS > Material > Control of sales order related production > Check account assignment categories. make cost center mandatory.
