how to disable internet explorer

i have requirement like this

i need to disble internet explorer when

i open sap R/3 s/m through portal (to open R/3 System i am using transaction iview )

can any body help me in this regard

Hi Vani,

I'm unsure what you mean with "disabling IE", but maybe you are talking of not using SAP GUI for HTML (but instead for Java / for Windows).

In that case, please check out http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/7a/d2c23b6fc85106e10000000a114084/frameset.htm and around, there the settings needed for the different GUI types are described.
