Hi,
What happen, if we are removing the Professional tax basis for a particular wage type? Is it pay the difference amount in the subsequent payroll process through retro calculation.
For eg. PTax deducted in the month Aug 2007 as Rs.375 (Ptax basis for 6 months 45000 to 60000) for the period April 2007 and Sept 2007. Assume if we remove some wage type from PTax basis calculation it becomes less than Rs. 45000, then the Ptax calculated as Rs.188. Can the system calculates the reto amount Rs.187(Rs.375 - Rs.188) and pay through as an arrear in the Sep 2007 month payroll process.
Thanks
