hi,

"Internal order is temporary in nature where you want to capture costs for some temporary purpose. Finally, you may settle these costs to some assets, CO objects, etc."

1) which module this internal order originating from?

2) how to use internal order?

3) what does it mean by internal order settlement rule?

4) what would happen before and after the settlement rule applied?

5) why can use internal order in asset management?

6) what is CO object?

thanks

Dear Eliana,

1.Internal order is the sub-component in Controlling module.

2.Internal order can be used to control the expenses. Internal order can be created and assigned against a budget. Hence the system will not allow you to post any more entries until otherwise the budget is revised. This helps to have an extra care in the expenses carried out.

3.Normally assets will have its own life period and the expenses or income through the asset has to be monitored. Hence the internal order is the best tool.

4.CO object is the object that creates a link to the controlling module. A co object can be a cost center, internal order, sales order, process order etc..

hello,

internal order is nothing but it is a cost object which is use to controll the activity which passes from different cost center and analyses the cost incurrs at each cost center.

rule for its settelment is related to pure controlling activity that co data passe from sender cost center to reciever cost center thorugh periodic reposting and allocation.

hope this could be helpful to u
