reg : BOM and production order

Hi all,

I have created two production orders for the same material but with diffrent BOM explosion date. now can any one please let me know how will i find which version of alternate BOM of the material is used in the production order.

In the production order header table ( AFKO) i am getting only the alternate BOM number, i am ubable to find which version of alternate BOM is used for Production order.

    Hi,

    you have to create two Bom with different validity dates in OS32.

    In material master in MRP 4 View for bom explosion selection method give as

    selection by explosion date.

    Create two PIRS in different periods , run MRP and convert it to production orders

    and then check.

    In the production order header master data tab page itself you can check which

    alternative BOM the system has taken.

    in production order header screen master data tab page

    bill of material screen you can see all the details of BOM used including explosion date.

    Create production version for different BOM's

    If you create a production version then you can see the production version details in MD04 itself.
