My background is EAI (webmethods, Bizalk, SAP XI). I did my SAP XI (dev & admin) certification and my next goal would be to learn SAP MDM.

What is the best way (and the fastest) to get trained on SAP MDM

check out those courses:

MDM100 Master Data Management 5.5 SPO4

MDM300 Master Data Management 5.5 SP04 Print Publishing

MDM101 Global Data Synchronisation

MDM400 MDM400 MDM Data Modeling

I believe there will also be a new one MDM200

Master Data Management Product Content Management

but I'm not sure if it's already avalable

+ you have all the blogs

if you know xi at least r3 - XI - MDM connection part will

be very easy as you just need to upload XI content

and connect those two systems (nothing special in XI)
