GP Loop Block sucks

Hi,

I'm trying to model a process which contains a loop - unfortunatly without any success. Has anybody ever tried this?

I'm using a "Precondition Loop Block" and I would like to have the decision taken automatically. So I tried to use a different CO inside the decision's action as mentioned in the "Designing a block" tutorial.

My favorite CO:

"Decision (Comparison to Predefined Value)"

I may select this, and put in an additional Loop Body Block and do whatever I like. But when I try to activate the process, I get the following error:

"Specify an appropriate decision action for loop. It must have continue and break result states."

But how do I know which one has got these result states? Or do I have to compile one for myself?

I hate it!

Best regards

Daniel

Hi,

Why are you not using Business Logic Callable object? If you use Business Logic callable object the decision will be taken care automatically based on your logic.

Could you please try with Business Logic CO and if any problem please let me know.

Thanks

Hi Chandan,

that worked great. Thanks for your help!

I think I had his problem, because I didn't even know this CO. Actually I don't know the most of these COs - and in my opinion the SAP GUI doesn't invite you to give things a trial, because the user interface is - I would say - the opposite of being ergonomic.

Do you know where to find a documentation?

Best regards,

Daniel
