Multi Step Approval for opportunities in SAP C4C

Hi All,

We have configured multi step Approval for opportunities in our system. The approval process is based on status. When the Custom Status is equal to Approval1, approval Ishould go to the custom involved party approver. In Approval facet " It is showing as approval not started. What could be the reason for this Message. Why it is not started. Any information will be helpful for us.

Configured approval process for opportunity
Maintained 2 minutes as due date in approval for opportunities in fine tuning.

    Hi Bharath,

If your Approval Process is manual and Once the Approval condition is met,Status of Approval will be moved to Not Started. So Go to Action button and submit the respective opportunity for approval by pressing the Submit for Approval button

    • Hi Loganathan,

      Thanks for the response!!!

It worked for manual approval. When doing automatic approval process. I have made" submit for approval" checkbox
enabled again the status in Custom Status(opportunities -fine tuning). In our case it is for three status Approval 1, Approval 2 and Approval 3.
When the status of the opportunities equals to Approval 1. Approval process is started and once it is approved by the approver ,the approval Status is changed to Approved.( Not started ->In process->Approved). Approval 1 is done.
So I am changing the status to approval 2 but approval is not started again. Is this the standard behavior.

Whether only one status should have the checkbox" submit for approval". If it is yes. How to configured for my scenario.
