HI FRIENDS,
although i have assigned capacity catagory 001 to the W.C.and ,also the indicator as finite sheduling .when i go for capacity availability check in production order, i am getting this error message : No reqmts/caps exists or not relevant to finite scheduling
and the diagosis is coming like this.
Message no. CY298
Diagnosis
In the capacity availability check either no capacities were found or none were found that were relevant for finite scheduling or no capacity requirements were found.
The possible causes are:
no capacities have been assigned to the work centers checked
in the capacities at the work centers checked the indicator Relevant to finite scheduling is not set. Thus the capacities can have an unlimited load.
no capacity requirements exist for the order checked
System Response
The capacity availability is checked.
Procedure
Assign capacities to the work centers affected by the order.
Set the indicator Relevant to finite scheduling at the capacities in the work centers affected.
Find out why no capacity requirements exist and, if possible, solve the problem.
Carry out the capacity availability check again.
I HAVE CHECKED EVERY THING IS O.K , STILL THIS ERROR PERSISTS.
PLEASE SUGGEST.
Thanks& Regards
omkar
Hi,
In CR02 change work center please activate the indicator Relevant for finite scheduling in Capacity header in Work center capacity view.
In transaction OPU3 Scheduling parameters check Generate capacity requirements activated.
In transactiob OPJK - Order control check capacity availability check activated in the capacity availability tab. Maintain a overall profile tehre.
Hope the above solve your problem.
Thanks and regards

Hi Omkar,
Check for CR02 in that capacity header, see if its check for finite scheduling
Thanks

Hi,
check in opu3 whether generate capacity indicator is enabled or not for your order types.

Hi Omkar,
In CR02,
in capacity header screen, please check shift sequences are maintained.
IMPORTANT THING is check the validity of the shift you have defined.

hi omkar ,
have u maintained the capacity category that has to be scheduled in scheduling tab page .the capacities that r define in scheduling tab page of work centre are relevant for scheduling.so please check for the same thing .a;so please do check details of the control key ,wether the scheduling is activated for that workcentre through control key .
1) check control key details
2) check for entry in scheduling tab page in workcentre
please check and revert back
