Fiscal is nothing but Financial year. According India's - financial year starts from April to March, for US Jan to Dec.

Fiscal Year is a period of 12 months and SAP provides 4 special periods to posting adjustment Entries. Fiscal year determines posting periods. Posting periods are used to assign business transactions. Fiscal year may be year dependent or year independent.

Fiscal Year means Financial Year for which all the Accounting Documents are Created.

You can find this field in FI related tables like BKPF-GJAHR.
