Hi Masters,
While using WE20 I have to give partner number which is same as the logical system name of the destination system ..
for eg: file to idoc scenario ..... here destination system is R3 system .. so i have to give logical system name of r3 system .. but when i am giving logical system name ......its showing message " please enter permitted partner number ." ....
please help me to rectify this problem..

as mentioned by vishal u will first have to create logical system in BD54

talking about this scenario... file to Idoc case u need to create partner profile of sender on R/3. you can create it with the same that is there in your sender service(XI). You can find the same in adapter specific identifiers of sender service. Maintain partner profile for this sender in R/3 by adding desired message type as inbound parameter

u have to maintain the partner name or number in the tcode: bd54
only those names which are placed there would b alloweed to b entered here...

partner number enter the RFCdestination created in SM59 which u used in port creation

What kind of Partner type you are defining? if it is LS then it will accept other than that you can generate it automatically.

Assign the partner profile number in fi12 and save then click on the partner profile button and copy the partner profile u want and create a new one and save.
