Movement type not there in schedule lines

Hi,

I was asked a question which is as follows

what happens if the movement type field is not filled in the schedule line category.

hi,

the answer here is " u cannot create delivery for the line item..

because movement type tells that what we are doing with the material whether inboud or outbound..

in some cases like third party order processing u cannot find the movement type because we are delivering the material from third party so here we did not mention movement type..

if it is not there the system doesnt know which delivery it it inbound or outbound or stock transfers

if movement type is not there its not possible to determine the movement of goods

The movement type is responsible for movemnt for goods.

each type of movement will have movement type which assigned to teh Sch.line cat
