But status is still an “awaiting approval”

Hello,

If I understand you correctly

SC is ordered , approved by manager or by auto approval workflow

PR is created in backend

but still the status of SC is "awaiting approval"

have you activated any BADI approval?

modified workflows?

we had experienced this once

that the status is updated correctly

SAP gave us a note to apply

Note 1053433 - Extended classic: Incorrect status shown in check status

Not sure if it's applicable to you but worth a look.

Hi Dinesh,

We activated workflow with BADI

We upgraded to SRM 4.0 to 5.0

Workflow log shows status as completed

But in SC status showing as awaiting approval

You have any OSS note request you to provide

Try with Tcode SWUD and check the Note 962488.
