Hi All,

I have not worked on ESS - employee self service, could you pls brief me abt the topic and which infotypes are involved in the same? Use of ESS other than employee attendance & absences. what is the node where config is done?

ESS is used for a lot of other things like trainings, compensation details, etc. It depends on how well it can be used in your requirements. Configurations for your specific needs can be carried out in IMG> Human Resources> ESS

Normally ESS application for Employee can change his own records like address,Personnel Info,Benefit Info, Tax info and Emergency Contact details.The following Infotypes mostly use in ESS applications :

IT0000 - Depends on Action Type

IT0002

IT0006,

IT0021,

IT0167 - IT0171
