Regarding the gl' account

Hi,

This is suma nalluri sap fi/co consultant.I am facing a problem with one gl account.Initially this gl account kept as a line item ,Now my client was saying tht it should show open item also.But we had alredy done the posting through this gl account. Though I had alredy reverse all the documents which had posted to this gl account and made the balence is zero. Still it is not allowing me to change it as an open item .I had tried it through table also .But not allowing me to do this.Please do the Needfull.

Hi Suma,

When the balance is zero...try this go to the GL account and select option open item management active and try.

hi suma,

this may help to u plz check.

Steps to be followed:

1. Block the GL from further posting.

2. Copy the program RFSEPA02 to ZRFSEPA02 with the help of your abbaper.

3. Ask your abbaper to make the statement comment which stops the program

running after giving the msg.

4. Run the program for the GL Account and company code.

5. Unblock the account

6. You can clear the items already posted and the account is now an open item

managed account.

Hi suma

There is another way to solve your issue.You may create another account with same nomenclature and activate the open item management and line item management in that account.

Then transfer the earlier postings what you have done in the account in which the open item is not activated.

Once the details are transferred from your earlier account to the new account ,if you will go to display of G/L line items it will show individual line items as open items with retrospective effect.

I have tried this and hope this will work.
