Hi Gurus,
We are getting 'version conflict' error when try to change and activate the communication channels in our production ID. I tried re-import them from QA, which is not resolved this issue.
When I open the object and click on 'Displayed version', it is giving me java error "Merge relation is null".
Please help me resolving this issue. This might have happened because of the full export of ID into Production ID when we 'rejected the changes' for all the unnecessary objects and activated only needed objects.
Any help in this issue is highly appreciated.
Thanks
Kalyan
Hi Kalyan,
Did you solve your "merge relation is null" problem? Because I have exactly the same problem, and would appreciate your help if you have found something
Thanks,
Gregory Paris

Hi Greg,
We have not resolved that issue yet. But, I have opened the OSS note with SAP. This problem occurs because of the inconsistency of the objects in ID. They suggest to delete the ID content and copy that again. This has to be done through the administration. We will not have the history of the objects if we do this. There are certain steps need to follow with Basis since the procedure has DB checks.
I am trying to do alternately by deleting the objects in problem and re-import them from QA and see what happens. I will update the results here.
Thanks
Kalyan
Hi Kalyan,
Thank you for your reply.
I've tried to delete the objects in problem and re-import them, even manually re-create them, but when they have the same name, I still have the same error...
I also tried to delete my Scenario with all the objects within, and re-import them, but still the same error.
I unfortunately cannot rename all the objects because I have two receiver agreements in error (and one communication channel which I could rename).
When you say that the ID content deletion has to be done through the administration, you speak about sxmb_adm or something like that?
Thanks,
Gregory
