I have set suspend time to two hours when I started my session. I was under the impression that the session would be suspended after 2 hours and left for the day. To my dismay, the next morning, the session was still showing as active. When I checked my AWS account, I was charged for 19 hours. Looks like the suspend function didnt work properly. Who should I contact in this case.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Sarat Vamsi S,

We found only one instance "S4HANA SD" created by an user with your names (xxxx589) and a schedule to suspend after two hours. According to the SAP CAL logs the suspend function worked as expected. I have listed the operations triggered by the user xxxx589:

24.08.2017 19:26:23 UTC - Operation 'Create' without Suspend time

25.08.2017 12:17:19 UTC - Operation 'Suspend'

25.08.2017 13:22:07 UTC - Operation 'Activate'

25.08.2017 14:44:33 UTC - Operation 'Suspend'

25.08.2017 15:11:24 UTC - Operation 'Activate' with Suspend time after 2 hours

25.08.2017 15:55:22 UTC - Operation 'Suspend'

25.08.2017 17:15:24 UTC - SAP CAL checked that the instance is in status Suspended
