Error message in update rules - 2LIS_03_BX

Hi,

I am using the datasource 2lis_03_BX in standard mode & succesfuuly did the transfer rules assigment with the Infosource 2lis_03_BX, but when I try to do the update rules mapping for the Inventory cube OIC_C03 cube I get an error message which says "No update exists for time-reference characteristic 0CALDAY". Therefore none of the KF's get mapped. Can anyone please help me with this? Did anyone face this issue, please let me know.

U have to maintain Validity table for Calendar day in Infocube level that may solve u r problem

go to update rules there u will find symbol(overview) click that and check additive...it may help u.

Hi,

You need to map one of the date fields (purchasing date, docu. date, posting date...etc. based on the business requirement) to 0CALDAY in the update rules of the cube 0IC_C03 and then activate the update ru;es/. hope it helps.

Are the transfer rules for the date fields BLDAT and BUDAT properly mapped and have GREEN...? are they 0CALDAY type?

Yes, they are green. The mapping is as follows:

On R/3 datasource side the field is "BUDAT" -->mapped to "0PSTNG_DATE" ( Posting date ) on BW side.

I am using the standard datsource, infosource & infocube. Not able to understand why I am still having problem.

Hi ,

Please check if the posting date is mapped to the calday in update rules of 2lis_03_BX?

If they are not mapped then map it and then try.
