Error message "Fill in all required entry fields" (Error Message no. 00055)

Hi there,

We have been investigating on Bdoc error 00 55 and could see that the language field at ADRC had a blank value which caused the replciation failure.

We were trying to suppress the validaiton in OBD2 in ISU to make the language field optional but couldnt find this field in OBD2.Any suggestions how I can suppress the validation in OBD2 for language field to restrict validation please?

Also is there ant other fields identified through other customers for same 00 55 bdoc error? Please share as the KA shared by SAP on this very highlevel.

Hi Julin,

Further investigations revealed that there is hardcoded validation in Idoc ale code related to customer creation which is causing the problem.SAP should clearly invetigate this 00 55 bdoc error caused due to missing language E2E (CRM BP,ISU BP /CUSTOMER ) replcication and provide a suitable note ,rather just recommending to mark them as optional in BUCG.

Hello Raj,

The note 330032 is only used in the field control for customer. For BP, as far as I know, the field is programmed required field. If you don't want it as required, you would need to modify the coding from CRM side.

Thanks for your reply.I have already investigated using the steps suggested in the Note 1541354 and I can see it points to XD02 in ISU for missing language field data. .

Further investigations proved why the language field is blank in XD03/02...When ever an user removes the address or communication )ADR6 or ADRC) details from CRM the Language field data becomes blank from EN.Do we have any SAP notes to fix this issue?

Any changes from CRM after this ends up in 00 55 Bdoc error.

To mitigate this we implemented report mentioned in note 330032 which turns on the Language field to make it as optional in OBD2 in ISU but still the 00 55 Bdocs occur.

Its surprising that the validation even occurs post the field has been made optional.Do you have any sap notes on this to prevent language field getting validated as mandatory and 00 55 error occurs?

Its a very common bdoc error in every Utility project and SAP should introduce permanent fix to make Language validation as optional for Customer master screen.

For the error message 00055, you could refer to the following KBA to identify the required fields for the error message.

1541354 - Error message "Fill in all required entry fields" (Error Message no. 00055)

In you case, actually the "Language" field is the programmed required field. It cannot be changed to optional by customizing. You could need to fill the field from CRM side. This has been mentioned in the attachment of the note 928616.
