Inspection lot not found QALS

Hi Experts.

I have a production order (inspection type 03) that has an inspection lot assigned when i go to CO03. When I search for that inspection lot. SAP is giving message "IL cannot be found, do you want to search archive?". If i hit yes, I get the message IL was not created. This is a new IL and so it wouldn't have been archived.

Things I've already done for this issue.

1. Search table QALS for IL in SE16N. Result: IL was not found

2. Search for IL in QA03. Results: IL does not exist.

I might go into order and try deleting the inspection lot from there. Then save the order.

Then, if you need an 03 inspection lot, go back into the order and generate a new 03 inspection lot.

It's an 03 lot. Not sure those screens will help as an 03 is not stock relevant.
