Lotus Notes E-Mail Notification to Message creator

Hi Gurus,

it is bit urgent

I am configurinf Service Desk in SM 4.0 , If I want to Send an E-mail Notification to message creater 's Offcial mail ID( Eg : rajani@abc.com, Mail server is Lotus Notes) , how do I do it?

Could you pls let me know whether SMTP supports or not ?
