what are the two fields in mm sales and plant view

hi

if we did not maintained availability check 01individual reqt , 02 collective reqt, these two we did not maintain for TOR then what system wont check. what will happen with effect of these. any one know about this

    For availabilty check you need to mention as 01 or 02 for that particular material, if u dont maint this in the material master then that particualr material will not be check for availability,

    Secondly in sales order also u need to assign the availablity check and in schedule line catg as well.

    hi,

    for availability check to happen the folllowing conditions have to be fullfilled

    1.availability check (checking group ) should be maintained i the material master.

    2.the availability check and TOR has to be checked on at the requirment class level

    3.the schedule line category must be switched on for tor and availbility check

    in sales & plant view maintain checking group /availability check field,the MRP type

    field is imprtant field maintain PD --MRP for availability check.

    Hi ,

    Any agreements you made with the customer about deliveries also affect the result

    of the availability check.

    Depending on the agreements for partial/complete delivery in the customer

    sales order, you can deliver an order in one complete delivery or several partial

    deliveries.

    In a complete delivery, all items with the order quantities are delivered.

    For partial deliveries you can distribute items or quantities of one order on several

    deliveries.

    Communication between sales and distribution and procurement is carried out

    via requirements.

    The transfer of requirements type can influence the availability check.

    The employee responsible for materials planning receives information about

    sales orders in the system and the quantities that SD needs in order to deliver

    these orders.

    The material for the order can come from in-house production or external

    procurement.

    If there is insufficient material available, purchase orders can be made via

    materials planning.

    This is the significance of the availbility check .
