Why after uploading initial stock is quantity zero?

Hi,

I performed an upload initial stock MB1C using movment type 501, 561, MB1B 311. SAP created batch number but quantity is zero.

Is there somewhere a customization that generates zero stock?

Thanks for your help

Marty

Hi

Your message is confusing

which movement type did you use to load stock

561 is normal for initial stock, 501 is for GR without PO and 31 is st loc to st loc transfer

which did you do?

Hi,

I used 561 and 501 and enter Material quantity, SL. In both case the batch was created with Delivery document number and no error but the stock is zero.

I used 301 to transfer the same Material, batch and quantity from one SL to the same previous SL and I got the same result.

Best regards

Dear Marty,

Please check your material type configuration. If the Qty update is not ticked then the stock qty will not updated.

Hi,

Go to T.Code:OMS2 and check your material type and see the check boxes of Quantity updating and Value updating. If not ticked just tick it and save. Now try your transactions.

Note: For initial uploading 561 Movement type used and value of material entered but........Ok,.Check again.

If Helpful then reward.

Hi Biju,

The check box quantity and Value updating were checked.

When I performed MB1C 561 SAP generated a Delivery document instead of Posting document.

Does that mean this material with this SL is configured for sale?

Best regards
