Background Job Workers

Does anyone know of a way to restart the Background Job Workers for CC 5.1? I have tried restarting the java engine but to no avail. Without these workers running I am unable to execute any background jobs.

I've tried restarting the workers from //server_name:port/virsa/CCADStatus.jsp using the "Start All" option. This does not work. The page does not resolve; the standard "page could not be found" error message is displayed.

Help!

    Hi Michael,

It's a known problem with background jobs in CC 5.1/5.2. Please, try to create missing entries in your Oracle DB as per SAP note # 999785.

It should resolve your problem. Award the point accordingly 😊

    Best regards,

      Hi Michael,

Try to replace hostname for entry 107 with the "localhost".

Also, please ensure that the Maximum Heap Size (in J2EE config) is setup 1024 for 32-bit platform or increase it up to 2048 on 64-bit platform.

And, please, try to restart your J2EE engine.

      Best regards,

      Laziz
