Average of last 12 months

Hi

At present I run a report each month which shows me the number of employees in each department, the report is scheduled to run on the 1st day of each calendar month. I then put this data into an Excel spreadsheet which has a column for each calendar month. This spreadsheet has another column which calculates the average of the last 12 months values. In effect I get the average number of employees by Dept for a rolling 12 month period. I want to be able to implement a similar solution using webi bus obj reports. I am not sure how I could do this in webi. The data is currently extracted using a query filter called current date which corresponds to the 1st day of each calendar month. Can anyone suggest a solution. Many thanks Will

Are you able to edit the query?

You'll need to investigate what your current query can offer, maybe the objects are already available to do this? If not you'll need to ask the designer of the query/universe if they can add objects that will automatically aggregate a last 12 months average for you.

Should be possible, depends on what data you've got available...
