Archiving smartform

Hi ,

I need to archive my smartform

im setting tdarmod(in output_options) to 2 - print and archive.

but i get an error. saying 'No archive information found for object type '

what am i doing wrong

as far as i am concerned, there are archive objects and you need to configure them so as to where it will get stored on archiving... so too u hv to specify the archival settings. For more info, pls refer the following link

Thanks for ur reply. Ive now configured Archivinh.

Hoever can u tell me how to pass archive parameters to the driver program

which will then pass it to the smartform

im working woth smartfrms

if the archiving hv been configured correctly, now u have to pass the parameters for archiving when calling the smartforms....

Options for Archiving

The Spool Control box is located in the spool dialog window. It contains a combo box that allows the user to choose the archiving mode (Print only, Archive Only, Print and Archive). The parameters in the table below refer to this combo box.

<b>Parameter Name Component Type Data Type(Length) Description</b>

TDARMOD SYARMOD CHAR(1) Presets the value of the

combo box:

'1': Print Only

'2': Archive Only

'3': Print and Archive

TDNOARMCH

If set, the user can no longer change the preset value in the combo box.

TDARCCOP

Indicates whether copies are to be archived
