Does using 'Services to object' use up a lot of storage?

Hello,

We are looking at using the 'services for object' function to save documents and creating External URL links.

We are going to use it to store Certificates of Conformities and delivery notes etc.

Colleagues are worried about how this would affect storage and where it all gets saved too.

Could somebody please confirm to me whether it could create any problems for us?

Many Thanks

Adam

Honestly, adding a few pictures with GOS might occupy more space than you free up with data-archiving of purchasing requisitions from 2 years.

You should link your GOS to a cheaper external storage

See the specific GOS section in the data management guide which can be found in the wiki page https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/TechOps/Data+Volume+Management

at the bottom in the section How-to guides

      Hello,

Maybe I haven't explained myself correctly, or I just don't understand.

I want to know if saving documents and links on SAP is a large drain on storage?

Or is it something any business should be able to do.

      Many Thanks,
