Dear All,

We are implementing ESS/MSS mySAP2005 Bussiness packages with Portal 7.0. Also, upgraded the 4.6c to ECC 6.0.

We have succefully deployed Bussiness packages using sdm.

In 4.6c ITS, there were Training and skills applications which allows to book any training within the company.

We were unable to find out the similar functionality of 4.6c ITS (training and skills) in portal 7.0. May be the pages/iviews......?

We donno where to look in Portal 7.0 ? Can anybody help us in this regards ......

Anybody has an presentation which can show the functionality of Career, training and skills applications in Portal 7.0 ?

Thanks for your all inputs in advance,

Regards,

Anil Kumar

I don't believe it is part of the new ECC6 business package. I think it is being replaced by the learning solution but if you want to use the older version (that you are use to), you will need to install the older business package (based on ITS services) and use the integrated/external ITS for your needed services. In that case, it is exactly what you are use to in 4.6c.

I guess LSO600 is now Enterprise Learning.. there is some useful stuff at the SAP servicemarket place. like what is new, system reqts etc to impelment Enterprise Learning.. use ur OSS id & pwd to login.

The Learning Solution has its own pricing model. If you want to use it, you have to purchase it.

LSO600 is not Enterprise Learning. Enterprise Learning is an additional product. If you happen to have a license for LSO, you do not have a license to use Enterprise Learning.

Hello Anil,

well the BP Learning includes an iView / Page for the BSP application called "Learning Portal" which is part of the SAP Learning Solution.

If you want to use the BP Learning you have to have the SAP Learning Solution installed on your backend ERP system.

Check this image to see how it does look like
