SRM shopping cart approval for external requirements

Hi all,

I am considering a plan-driven procurement scenario, but wanted to know if anyone has managed to set up any shopping cart approval within SRM once the requirement has been transferred from the ECC backend system.

I know it is a limitation that shopping cart approval is not supported for external items (OSS note 505030), but still wanted to know whether anyone has successfully tried to set up approval.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
