Same material both valuated as well as non valuated according to customer

my client rents out its warehouse to its customers but my clients personell deals with the handling, picking, shipping etc. and therefore needs to register the following scenario in my clients SAP system. Several customers rent a piece of the warehouse and store their materials there. It can occur that one materialnumber is being used by several customers. It can also occur that one customer wants this material to be valuated but another customer wants it to be non valuated. Is this a realistic scenario? And if so, can it be achieved within one plant with multiple storage locations (one for every customer)? Or should I create one plant for every customer and then use split valuation for this scenario?

I am wondering if we can fulfill this request. Would like to hear from you.

why don't you just create individual material masters for each company.

What is your interest to consolidate materials from several customers into 1 material master. And why do you actually have to manage the materials valuated in your system on your customers behalf?

If you really do this as a service then you would need to create each of your customers as separate company codes, how else would be able to manage authority and segregate the values of the goods, keep up with reporting requirements.

I actually think this requires a meeting for several hours with people from various modules, to collect all requirements and to evaluate what can be done.
