How to creat business process for the user?

Hi

when i use to create message in notif_creat i am getting error message Business partner Neni_SM does not exist

please help me

where are you entering the BP!!!...STP OR Reported By....because...creaton of BP for both is different !!!

reply with information and the whole step by step description......i CAN HELP you!!!

Hi Shridhar,

I have created the in BP in tcode BP only plz tell me where i have assign BP for the users

when i use to create message in notif_create i am getting error message Business partner Neni_SM does not exist.

Hi,

Open your business partner in tceode BP.

Goto change mode.

Under Change in BP Role, choose Role "Employee" (BUP003).

Goto tab Identification.

Under Employee Data --> User Name, select the corresponding User ID of the Business Partner.

Hi Neni,

Business Partner need to be created in BP transaction only. Please explain step-by-step what you have done. So that it will be easier for people to help you in fixing your problem.

As Remy told in his first reply you have to first create your business partner and have to assign the solman user id(of you "Neni_SM") for all the systems against which you will raise your service desk message like

<SID of the system> <installation number of the system> <client number> <solman userid>

<eg.> EC5 0041141184299 700 Neni_SM

The above needs to be done in the "Identification" tab under "Identification Numbers" subtab.

The value of "ID Type" need to be chosen as "CRM001". And the above said value needs to be entered for "Identification Number" column.

Without doing the above for the appopriate system you will get the error message (as said by you) whenever you try to create a service desk message against that system.

heyyy..

where are you entering this BP..in "Reorted by" field???....and when do you want the BP field (STP or Reported by) to be updated.

there are provisions by which the above mentioned field can be automatically field when a ticket is created!!!!

Frankly speaking i am bit confused with your requirement.....do you want the "Bp doesnt exists" eroro to be solved or you want automatic bp field updation.(or both)

Admin_sm(Key user)

Neni_sm(sub user)

Neni_sm1(sub user)

Step Followed

1L.ogon to System Admin_sm go to Code:BP

2.When I use to select Display in BP role as “Employee”

3 required Data filled in “address tab”

4.In Identification tab I can only c subtab

Employee data:

Personnel number

User Name:neni_sm

5.When I use to select Display in BP role as “Employee in cfloders”

Employee data:

Personnel number

User Name :neni_sm

Identification number

External BP number :<SID>< installation number of the system>only this 2 r possible

Now problem is When I logon to Neni_sm(sub user)system create message in notif_creat i am getting error message <b>Business Partner Neni_sm cannot be the <u>reporter</u></b>

<b>Requirement</b>: I have to give access to create message for the following user Neni_sm(sub user)

Neni_sm1(sub user)

Where I have already created user: neni_sm and also roles

SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN

SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE

SAP_SUPPDESK_DISPLAY

SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS

Please help me

hey......

i got your problem....the BP you have created is of type "Employee" and system experts BP of type "general BP" (ie "Key user")..

thats why the error!!!!

create a bp of role General BP and i guess the probl;em willbe solved!!!!

Transaction BP --> click on create "user" button --> in the new screen which comes see to it tht the user role is "General BP" . fill in the address tab> then in idnetification: first col select external system number and in identification number put <sid> <install number> < client> <username> (see to it tht there is A space betwen them!!!

Hi,

This is because the selected business partner is not maintained for the selected Ibase Component.

Open your Business Partner in transaction BP. Go to the Identification Tab.

In the Identification Numbers area add entries for every system you want to create messages for.

Column IDType --> Choose CRM001

Column Identification Number --> <SID> <installationnumber> <client> <UserID> (example: PRD 1234567890 100 TESTUSER)
