Equipment/Functional Location Configuration Check

Hi,

Is there any functionality in EAM to compare two functional locations or two Equipments(each with lot of sub-Equipments).

Scenario is,

There is a group of equipments which are combined to form a superior equipment.

I want to check if any equipment was added or removed from the superior equipment.

You can make this possible using user-exits IEQM0001, IEQM0002. Take help of your ABAPer.

Hi Salma,

There is no comparison transactions. As a work around you can use IH01 check installed equipment under functional location.

Otherwise check tables. Also the requirement of combining equipment to form superior is not clear. Are you referring to BOM?

You could investigate Configuration Control, otherwise you will need to develop a solution.
