We have put SP 12 stack on Enterprise portal 7.0 , previously it was sp
9 . The web dynpro application with adobe interactive forms were
working fine with patch level 9 but when we installed patch level 12
on enterprise portal , the adobe interactive form is not displayed in
the browser.
The page is displayed with a blank white box in the place of
interactive form.
The versions are :
Adobe Reader 7.0.9 patch 11
Netweaver Develope Studio 2004s :
Adobe live cycle designer 7.1: patch level 3
Please advise to solve the above problem as early as possible.
ADOBE READER 7.0.9, NWDS 2004s, EP 7.0 with SP12

HI Mustafa,
Please remove the installed xACF following steps as in 846952-Erase ACF from client PC.
Without installing a new version of xACF, run your WebDynpro application with the Adobe form(please ensure that ActiveX Controls and plgins are enabled ).
When the application is run, the browser will automatically download the latest xACF as a cab file from the server and will prompt you to install it. On Installling the new ACF, the form shold be rendered fine.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Siddhartha

Hi Mustafa,
Have you installed the xACF component for 2004s on the client machine. If not then install the one with the appropriate SP level from marketplace.
Also install the Adobe SVG Viewer on the client machine. Also enable the ActiveX in the browser settings.
Then deploy and run the application. It should work fine. Hope this helps.

HI Mustafa,
The versions look ok and this should not have happened. Did you upgrade your ECC application from which you are calling Adobe Interactive forms, if so let me know ECC upgrade details.
Are you using adobe interactive forms for ESS and MSS.
Did you check the default trace, you can also activate the adobe logs from visual admin
Go to Visual Administrator for your J2EE engine.
Server -> services -> Log Configurator.
Then select 'To Advanced mode' and 'Locations' tab.
Root Location -> com -> sap -> engine -> services -> webservices -> server -> runtime -> com -> adobe_adobeDocumentServices -> AdobeDocumentServices
Please change this node to 'ALL' and save configuration.
All ADS trace will be written in DefaultTrace of server node.
After you finished your test, don't forget to change log level to 'default'
If you cannot find any useful information in default trace, please forward it to me.
Thank You,
Praveen
