Real MAV Price Logic Active in CKM9

Hello Experts,

We are implementing Material Ledger for one of our clients. We were able to successfully test the same in the development and Quality Servers.

However when me moved the Transports to Production, it was to our surprise that Real MAV Price Logic (Check Box) in CKM9 t-code is not checked.

This was not the case in the quality and development servers.

Please could someone guide us how this check box is maintained as CKM9 is a Display only T-Code.

Hi Adnan,

CKM9 is only for Display. It Display the Material Ledger Relevant Customizing Settings.

Try with F1 on Real MAV Price Logic Active in CKM9 -> Choose Icon Customizing - > Continue W/O specifying Project (F5).

It display the list of IMG activities.

Real MAV Price Logic Active:

It Controls the creation of transaction-related year-end closing documents in the material ledger for material with a moving average price (price control indicator 'V').

If you set this indicator, the system does not create a year-end closing document in the material ledger. Instead, the system posts in accordance with the normal moving average price logic.

If the field is blank, then if the material ledger is active moving average price materials are also posted according to standard price logic. If a price variance should occur, the system creates an additional accounting document, which allocates this price variance in the inventory (transaction-related year-end closing).
