Hi,

From an ABAP perspective, not many changes, its just the underlying WAS has changed frm 6.20 to 6.40 and of course new features has been in the form of classes / methods.

ECC - ERP Central Component.

to know the differences in each release

Cheers,

Simha.

Dear Kumar,

To know the functionality changes you can refer http://solutionbrowser.erp.sap.fmpmedia.com/

http://www.sap.com/solutions/business-suite/erp/pdf/BWP_ERP2006_Upgrade.pdf

http://service.sap.com/releasenotes and http://service.sap.com/upgrade for functional changes.

There are some obsolete function modules too for data upload ws_upload_*** is there 4.6C but obsolete in ECC5.0.There are some new with enhanced functionality too so you may need to modify the BDCs (if any). Also more important thing is that the Unicode Compatibility.

There was no Smart form in 4.6C. Form printer was there probably. Though the same option is there in ECC 6.0 too but I believe using Smart form is the better option.

Hope this helps.I am a CRM functional consultant, so will not be able to give you much information.

Thanks,

Atin
