How to clear WM stock from storage type 901 - But no IM stock avaiable

Hi Experts,

As there is a stock in WM in storage type 901, but there is no stock available in IM level. Let me know how to clear this stock in WM level.

Please help me in this regard.

There is only one transaction that is supposed to clear inconsistencies, and this is LX23.

You should know that any movement in a warehouse managed location in IM will be synchronized to WM by creating a Transfer requirement or posting change notice.

Any adjustment made in WM will by synchronized to IM e.g. as a physical inventory adjustment.

This is just standard and the designed way an integrated system works, and because of that you cannot remove inconsistencies with normal movements or physical inventory.

I already explained you in detail what you have to do, just do it. Why do you ask if you then do something different than suggested?

First you have to find out if that is an inconsistency between MM and WM or if you just looked at one storage type and missed other storage types.

MMBE and LS24 and LS26 can help to get the full picture.

Inconsistency can be cleared with LX23, which will adjust MM stock and make it equal to WM. Subsequently you either create a physical count in WM and count the stock to zero or you scrap the stock in MM

Hi Jurgen,

User has confirmed that physical there is no stock available. But at WM level stock is lying and it is very old stock - posted in the year 2007. I also tried to clear the stock through physical count in WM, but during entering results in LI11N, system is throwing an error message. Is there any other options or way to clear the stock.
