DSO showing as inactive and throw error while Acvtivating

Hi all,

I have a problem with my BW System. In fact while trying to create a new DSO I cant activate it it throws an error which is very generic (error trying to activate the classic Object datastore). I can activate infoObjects, infocubes not DSO.

There are three error msgs: RSAOLTP003, RSDODSO169, RSO404, while trying to activate the DSO.

PS: even when installing a new DSO from the Business Content it does not get activated.

My bw system is the following: SAP BW 750 SP000

my database is Oracle 12.1.0.2.0.

If someone has the same issue, I need help on this point.

Hi all,

I found the solution to my Problem. there was an issue with the RFC of the BW system and itself (My BW System) once resolved i can activate DSOs in my System.

Please try to activate using report RSDG_ADSO_ACTIVATE. Also, you can try to do a consistency check using RSRV. Sometime if you use NLS and DAP on the DSO, you need to make sure that you activate the DAP also before activating it.

try activate all info objects part of this DSO, make sure no infoobjects are inactive. And repair these infoobjects and reactivate your DSO.
