FM to perform Authority check for S_TABU_NAM

Hi

I would like to check whether a user has permissions to a certain table, for which he has been assigned access via S_TABU_NAM.

I'm using the functional module AUTHORITY_CHECK and passing Object = S_TABU_NAM. Field = AUTHORITY_CHECK and Value = LFA1, but it returns that the user does not have access.

Even if I check for a user with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW is still fails.

But checking auths (for other tables) with S_TABU_DIS works correctly.

So, I guess I want to know is how to check auths with a FM that has been assigned via S_TABU_NAM.

VIEW_AUTHORITY_CHECK is not really an option as it is not enabled for remote calls and we cannot change that.
