Hi I have performed a Database Export and instead off choosing option for ECC system Abap Export i have choosen the SAP Netweaver 04 SR1 options and performed the Database Export now the Database has been exported fine, but i need to build DEV and QA systems with this export. does the export performed defer from ECC export ????? is there any way i can use the same data exported and follow some methods to build the DEV and QA so that they would have the same data as of production and will not cause any inconsistenses.

The export procedure is the same for all ABAP system, it doesn´t matter if you choose "system copy" under ECC or system copy under Netweaver.

you can use that export to rebuild the target system, both for QA and DEV. Just make sure, you run transaction BDLS after that so you get a unique logical system name in all systems.

Hi Naresh,

As per my knowledge you won't be able to setup DEV and QA system with that database export.

ECC and netweaver both are different things.

There is no ECC component exists in netweaver.

I prefer you export database once again with ECC option.

And by chance till now you have tried then let me know what happened.
